This was a very sad case.
The man was so disgruntled with the family court of NZ and his frustration was such he set fire to himself outside Parliament hoping his death would ignite some discussion about the failings of the family court.
Instead NZ establishment media chose to ignore the discussion.
After all he was not from NZ and his ex partner was Japanese so this made it easy for media to make light of the tragedy.
It took a British journalist to break the story.
Shame on the family court and NZ media but not surprising!
